Parisi v Sinclair

Today, June 7, 2010 @ 7:55 PM I was served "Summons in a Civil Action" filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, "Daniel Parisi, et al, v Lawrence W. Sinclair, et al. Case number 1:10-cv-0897-RJL (the RJL being District Judge Richard J. Leon (left) who the case was assigned to.

The claims by Parisi in this action are laughable in that he claims he has been slandered by my writing in Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder? that he was an "internet porn merchant and pornographer."

For any DC Law Firm to attempt to argue Parisi is not a pornographer is laughable. After reading the complaint I can say with confidence Patton Boggs will NOT prevail and I am making it clear here and now that we will counter sue Parisi and demand all phone, financial, email, web site comments, posts etc for Parisi, Axelrod, Obama for America, Barack Obama, Edward Gelb, and so much more.

I stand by every word in the book and if anyone has been assaulted, libeled and slandered I believe a jury will find that person to be me, not Parisi.

The Summons served on me Lawrence W. Sinclair (personally) contained the name & address of whom the ANSWER should be served on HERE But Plaintiff's Summons failed to note the name & address for whom an ANSWER was to be filed on its Summons served on Sinclair Publishing, Inc (now Lawrence W. Sinclair doing business as Sinclair Publishing HERE

On June 15, 2010, exactly one year to the day that Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder? was published, our distributor notified Sinclair Publishing, Inc that the book "...has been temporarily pulled from distribution." Ingram Content Group was served with an identical civil complaint by Daniel Parisi and Patton Boggs LLP on June 10, 2010. The Cease & Desist letter of the same date from Patton Boggs makes it clear counsel for the Plaintiff is using the same internet warriors that Paul Levy of Public Citizens Litigation Group used to attack and spread false claims.

In the Parisi complaint, Richard Oparil of Patton Boggs makes claims that are complete and utter lies:

1. Oparil's claim that Larry Sinclair ever agreed to put Dan Parisi in contact with the limo driver is out right false. This claim, made by Dan Parisi in Feb 2008 was quickly demonstrated to be an outright LIE.

2. Oparil's claim that Larry Sinclair or the Book Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder? accuses Dan Parisi of being involved in the cover up of a murder IS AN OUT RIGHT LIE! Nowhere in the book nor anywhere else have Larry Sinclair ever made any such claims in regards to the murder of Donald Young.

3. Oparil's claim that the polygraph by Edward Gelb was corroborated by another examiner in Gelbs office on Feb 22, 2008 is interesting considering that Edward Gelb, Dan Parisi and Parisi assistant Robert Braddock ALL stated in Gelb's office on 2-22-2008 that the results of the exam would NOT BE KNOWN until Monday (2-25-08) at the earliest. So someone is lying here.

4. Whitehouse.com did not shut down in 2008 due to the statements in Larry Sinclair's book, considering the book was not published or available until June 15, 2009. Whitehouse.com has been scrubbed prior to the filing of this complaint but some very interesting posts have been located that will show Plaintiffs have out right lied in their complaint.

5. Oparil's claims "Sinclair has used multiple aliases..." is false. Mr. Sinclair himself has used no name other than that which was his own legal name at any given time which was always the name on his Social Security Card and Drivers License. Its said when a law firm as powerful as Patton Boggs would make such an outright false claim when even Law Enforcement has confirmed Mr. Sinclair has never provided them any name other than his OWN legal name at the time.

6. Daniel Parisi was given repeated opportunities in Feb 2008 to confirm or deny the information received on Feb 25, 2008 concerning his being hired by David Axelrod to arrange a rigged polygraph exam and he chose not to respond to those requests for more than 2 and a half years. The tip received about Parisi and Axelrod having a deal was independently verified.

7. Oparil’s claim that Larry Sinclair sought to profit from his allegations are false and in fact Mr. Sinclair has gone into considerable debt to expose the truth.

8. Claims that Larry Sinclair was involved in the picking of Edward Gelb as the polygraph examiner is false.

9. Parisi and Patton Boggs must prove all these claims (which they cannot) as well as damages. They will not be able to do that

Larry Sinclair & Sinclair Publishing, Inc will fight Parisi's baseless suit.

WhiteHouse.com will not release video footage or final report of Mr. Sinclair's polygraph

According to WhiteHouse.com

"After the events of yesterday and this morning we will no longer be posting the video of the Polygraph testing or the secondary Polygrapher Expert’s results. To be accused of taking a bribe to suppress this story along with all of the hate mail and messages sent by Larry Sinclair supporters who believe we did something to taint the results has been very disturbing.

No matter what we put up it will never be good enough for his supporters. Mr. Sinclair was also given every opportunity to let us talk to the limousine driver to corroborate his story and he failed to do so. This will be the last post on this matter as this matter needs to be put to bed. We will be going back to regular reporting."

What are they hiding? They said they would disclose everything and they clearly haven't. We learned they are canceling the checks issued to Mr. Sinclair and earlier today I reported about how they used to be a porn site.

Lawrence Sinclair & Sinclair Publishing, Inc has found a Law Firm they wish to retain to represent them in the matter of Parisi et al v Sinclair et al, US District Court for District of Columbia Case Number 1:10-cv-00987-RJL.

Since Dan Parisi filed a second suit against our distributor Ingram Content Group the SP, Inc title Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder? has been temporarily removed from distribution. This makes it impossible for Sp, Inc and Lawrence Sinclair to depend on sales income to pay the retainer fee. For that reason Lawrence Sinclair is placing the title to his home and his vehicle as collateral to secure the funds to pay the retainer.

Mr. Sinclair has stated repeatedly he stands by the accuracy and truthfulness of the content of his book. He does so with all of his being and has put up his home in order to defend the baseless claims of Dan Parisi.

Attorney's for Daniel Parisi (Patton Boggs LLP) move for Default Judgment against Sinclair Publishing, Inc (which has been dissolved) despite our requesting an additional 30 days to retain counsel to file an answer to Parisi's completely false complaint. Patton Boggs attorney Richard Oparil (who agreed to give Barnes & Noble and Books-a-Million additional time) demonstrated his complete lack of professionalism in emails dated July 8, 2010.

The SUMMONS IN A CIVIL ACTION served by Patton Boggs however failed to include the name and address of the individual(s) where SPI was to serve their answer (see here). Daniel Parisi and his attorney Richard Oparil are attempting to halt the publication, distribution and sale of a book by legal dirty tricks. If Patton Boggs and Daniel Parisi are confident their claims are factual why are they afraid to give us the extra 30 days to find counsel to file our answer denying the claims? Why did Richard Oparil agree to give Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million additional time to respond?

If The United States District Court for the District of Columbia refuses to grant us the requested additional time to retain counsel after Plaintiff's granted other defendants additional time then it will be clear to us this case was wrongly brought in the DC Court for clearly political purposes.

We have filed an answer denying the claims brought by Parisi however Richard Oparil refuses to accept it. Oparil filed a motion dated July 8, 2010 claiming as of that date no answer had been filed even though he emailed Larry Sinclair concerning the ANSWER dated July 6, 2010 and received by the Clerk of the Court on July 8, 2010.

Any Attorney who is permitted to practice in the District of Columbia who believes in standing up for the truth & not afraid to stand up against well paid THUGS the likes of Richard Oparil and Patton Boggs please contact Larry Sinclair ASAP.
